Meet the Team

Ingrid is a reinforcement based dog trainer and a Licensed Family Paws Educator specializing in new and expectant families with dogs. She is also currently completing her Diploma in Canine Behavior with a specialty in Aggressive Behavior at the Companion Animal Science Institute.

She is recognized by the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers (CAPDT) and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).

Ingrid grew up around dogs and has always been very passionate about canine communication. In 2017 and 2018, Ingrid’s interest in dog training as a profession was sparked after she acquired two Australian Shepherds, named Albus and Kiba. The challenges she faced in training them, coupled with the arrival of her daughter Octavia, led her to start training other dogs in 2020. This also marked a significant change in her career path, as she left her job as a Registered Nurse to pursue her passion. She found her niche as a Family Paws Educator, where she plays a crucial role in improving the safety and reducing the stress in homes with young children and dogs. Ingrid is a canine advocate, spreading awareness about the different ways our dogs communicate with us and encourages us to protect our dog’s confidence.

By 2022, Ingrid’s passion evolved further as she began crafting unique dog collars and leashes, expanding her business ventures. This new direction led her to meet many wonderful people in various markets.

Adding another layer to her journey, a few months later, her husband, Braeden, made a significant transition, leaving his machinist job to join Ingrid in the gear side of the business. Together, they stepped away from conventional employment to pursue a shared dream: bridging the connection between dogs and humans. Their collaborative efforts now weave together canine companionship, photography, and stylish gear.

Ingrid is also a Professional Photographer, capturing each dog’s spirit through her lens and sharing it with the world.

She lives with her husband, their daughter and 2 Australian shepherd dogs.

Ingrid invites others to join in this adventure, where each product embodies their dedication and passion. This venture celebrates creating lasting memories and strengthening the bonds with four-legged companions.
