THE STORY
MT didn’t start with a business plan. It started in the field.
I trained dogs professionally. Spent real time outdoors with real animals; not weekend walks. The kind of daily work in conditions that expose every weak point in your gear. BioThane® made sense for that life. Waterproof, easy to clean, tough enough to keep up.
People noticed. Other handlers, owners, clients. They’d ask where to get it. I’d point them to the brands I knew. And then I’d watch those experiences fall short. Inconsistent quality. Hardware that looked the part but didn’t perform it. Customer service that made it clear nobody on the other end was thinking about the dog.
I was. So I decided to build something better.
That’s when it became we. Braeden brought the precision the product needed. Proper measurements, considered construction, designs that actually work the way they’re supposed to. Between the two of us, we had everything MT needed to exist: the reason it had to be made, and the hands to make it right.
Every piece that leaves our workshop answers the question I started with: is this actually good enough for our dogs? That’s not a tagline. That’s the only standard we’ve ever worked to.

Genuine Biothane®
Waterproof, non-absorbent, and flexible in cold weather. Cleans completely after mud, water, or heavy use — nothing transfers, nothing lingers.
Solid 316 Stainless Hardware
Marine-grade stainless selected for corrosion resistance and long-term performance. The hardware that ships on every MT piece is not the hardware everyone else is using.
Mechanically Secured Construction
Every connection is fastened with stainless screws — not crimped, not glued. Structural integrity you can see and service.
Designed and Built in Canada
Each piece is assembled in our Alberta workspace.
